INEC Infrastructure, BVAS, able to prevent election rigging ahead of 2023 elections.

This infrastructure the INEC Voter Registration Device (IVED) eliminates identity theft voting through the use of someone else’s Permanent Voter Card (PVC). The Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS), which does not allow multiple votes and electronically transmits the results of the voting units, and the INEC Result Viewing Portal (IREV), which makes station result sheets publicly available.

INEC further said the 2022 Electoral Law would strengthen operations and increase the Commission’s confidence in free and fair outcomes for Nigerians.
