India to prove its power to the world, says, Prime Minister

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi says the country will prove its power to the world when it launched surgical strikes on militant bases in Pakistan ahead of his meeting with us president, Donald Trump.

The Indian leader who is in the US on an official visit told a gathering of Indian-Americans in Virginia that the incident showed India practiced restraint but can show power when needed.

Mr. Modi when discussing his government’s policy on terror said India talked tough on terrorism about 20 years back which he said many in the world said it was a law and order problem and didn’t understand it.

During his meeting in the United States, he also met with business leaders to raise India’s business-friendly climate.
