FG must consider resource control in restructuring Nigeria – Oladipo Olaitan

The financial secretary of Afenifere and a former Alliance for Democracy leader in the House of Representatives, honourable Oladipo Olaitan says resource control is a very important part of the restructuring which the federal government must consider.

In an interview with newsmen in Lagos, he said each state in Nigeria must manage its resources well without depending solely on the federal government.

Honourable Olaitan reiterated that the step will serve as the greatest way of restructuring Nigeria.

He urged the federal government to reconsider the 1963 constitution where each region or state manages its affairs and brings back royalties to the federal government.

Olaitan stressed that restructuring should be considered as one of the best solutions to the challenges facing Nigeria.
