Expert Advises Government on Environmental Planning

An environmental consultant says government at all levels should ensure proper planning of the environment.

Mr. Idowu Salawu while fielding questions from newsmen in Lagos said efforts should be made to prevent flooding and in times where it is unavoidable, measures should be put in place to effectively manage the situation.

The environmental consultant tasked authorities to carry out drainage maintenance activities and involve relevant experts in flood prevention and management measure.
