Ekiti Assembly spokesman distances Oyebanji, Fayemi from Aribisogan’s impeachment process
The Ekiti House of Assembly has said that the election which produced Honourable Gboyega Aribisogan as speaker of the house was compromised.
Ekiti Assembly spokesman, Honourable Adeoye Aribasoye revealed this while on a special programme in Adaba FM
He spoke on what transpired in the Assembly that led to the impeachment of Aribisogan as the speaker after he has spent 6 days on the position.
Aribasoye said 17 members legally impeached Aribisogan and followed legal procedure to elect the new speaker, adding that there is no truth that governor Biodun Oyebanji and former governor of Ekiti State Dr Kayode Fayemi interfered on Ekiti assembly matter.
