Education summit begins in Ondo
Stakeholders in the educational sector of Ondo state are currently meeting in Akure the state capital to discuss how to chart a new course in the state’s education system.
The theme of the 2-day summit is repositioning education for functionality and technology growth.
The minister of education, Adamu Adamu and the state minister for education, Anthony Anwuka are expected to attend the summit which begins today.
State commissioner for education, science and technology, Femi Agagu said the summit is aimed at addressing challenges that have affected the sector over the years.
Other issues to be addressed are early childhood care and development, quality assurance, capacity development, technology growth among others.
