Deposed Deji of Akure, Adepoju Adesina Is Dead
The deposed Deji of Akure, Oba Oluwadare Adepoju Adesina is dead.
A statement by the spokesman of the Adesina royal family in the Osupa ruling house, Prince Dapo Adepoju, says the deposed monarch passed on in the early hours of Thursday after a brief illness.
The statement says he died at a private hospital in Abuja.
The chief press secretary to the Deji of Akure, Oba Aladetoyinbo Aladelusi, Michael Adeyeye confirmed his death to Adaba FM.
The late Oba Oluwadare Adepoju was deposed by former Ondo state governor, Dr Olusegun Mimiko.
