Cookstown incident: Three teens dead and several injured in St Patrick’s Day tragedy

Three teenagers are confirmed dead at St Patrick’s day party at a hotel in Cooks Town, County Tyrone.

A 17 year old girl, 17 year old boy and a 16 year old boy have died following the incident at the Green Vale Hotel.

The police said there were reports of a crash at the scene and inquiries indicated that a large group of young people were waiting to enter a disco.

Police officer at service of Northern Ireland, Ass Chcon Mark Hamiton said it is breaking that an event which should have been fun for the youngsters on St Patrick’s night ended in such a terrible tragedy.
