Christchurch Shootings: New Zealand mourns Mosque victims
New Zealand has organized an Islamic call to pray and observed a two minutes silence in ceremonies to mark a week since the Christchurch attacks.
Prime Minister, Jacinda Ardern joined thousands of mourners near the Al-Noor mosque, one of the two places of worship targeted in last Friday’s shootings.
Fifty people were killed and dozens more wounded in the attacks.
The Imam of the mosque, Mr. Gamal Fouda, who led the prayers said that people are broken-hearted but they are still determined to have faith in Islam.
