Chemical plant near flooded Houston city to explode in few days
Latest reports from Houston, United States say a chemical plant near the flooded United States city of Houston is expected to explode and catch fire in the coming days.
The Arkema plant which shut down its production on Friday has lost the ability to refrigeration chemical compounds that need to be kept cool.
The company spokesman, Richard Rowe said there was no way to prevent the imminent explosion
At least thirty-three people have been killed in the aftermath of the storm, which the United States national weather service has now downgraded to a tropical depression.
