Chelsea agrees to sign Real Madrid striker Morata for 60 million pounds
Chelsea football club has agreed to sign Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata for about 60 million pounds.
The twenty-four-year-old Spain international will be the premier league champions fourth signing of the summer after goalkeeper Willy Caballero, defender Antonio Rudiger and midfielder Tiesmoue Bakayoko.
Morata who scored 20 goals last season after rejoining real from Juventus must now agree to personal terms and pass a medical to complete the transfer.
Alvaro Morate could replace Spain team mate Diego Costa who says he has been told by manager Antonio Conte that he is no longer in Chelsea’s plans.
