Catalonia leader, Carles Puigdemont refuses to clarify independence rumour
The leader of the Spanish region of Catalonia, Carles Puigdemont has not clarified whether or not he has declared independence.
Mr. Puigdemont is under pressure from coalition partners to go ahead with independence, while Spanish and intentional politicians have called for withdrawal.
The deadline given to Carles Puigdemont is Thursday to withdraw has substantial autonomy.
