Buratai Confirms Reception of Over 700 Boko Haram Terrorists

The Chief of Army Staff Lieutenant-General Tukur Buratai has confirmed the reception of more than 700 Boko Haram terrorists who surrendered to troops of operation Lafiya Dole in Borno State.

Buratai explained that the move followed intensive combing of the terrorist hideouts in the Sambisa forest by the Nigeria Army.

He noted that the terrorists are in disarray as they no more have access to food and other needs.

The Army chief added that the development reaffirms the hope that the Army is winning the war against the insurgency.
