#BuhariMedicalLeave: Exactly 100 days, controversies trails his absence
Exactly one hundred days since president Muhammadu Buhari travelled out of the country for a medical trip, controversy has continued to trail his absence.
A member of concerned Nigerians group and leader of the campaign resume or resign Deji Adeyanju has described the continued absence of the president as unhealthy for the nation.
Deji Adeyanju, who made the comment while speaking with newsmen in Lagos, said the attack on the campaigners is against the Constitution as every citizen has the right to voice his or her own opinion on issues affecting governance.
In a swift reaction, the publicity secretary of the All Progressives Congress, Lagos, Joe Igbokwe said the protest and call for President Buhari to resume or resign is meaningless.
Igbokwe noted that Buhari followed due process as enshrined in the constitution before leaving on his medical trip.
