Buhari vows to works for APC’s victory during 2023 general election

President Muhammadu Buhari has promised to work for the victory of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in next year’s general election.

The president reiterated his loyalty to the APC stressing that he will not betray its candidates during the poll.

A statement by the senior special assistant to the president on media and publicity, Mallam Garba Shehu warns those trying to undermine the interest of the party to desist.

The statement also warns officials of the presidency against making controversial comments that are capable of hurting the image of government and chances of the APC.

It says their utterances were inadvertently providing the opposition with grounds to undermine and reduce the chance of APC and its candidates.

The statement advises those who have defected from the party and those who have taken the party to court to pull the brake.

It adds that Buhari as a loyal and committed party leader will campaign for APC candidates and will support the party to enforce discipline and coordination.
