BREAKING: Lawmakers impeach Lagos Assembly speaker Obasa
The Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Mudashiru Obasa, has been impeached for gross misconduct and abuse of office.
Multiple sources confirmed that Obasa was removed by the lawmakers during a plenary on Monday.
90% of the lawmakers were in support of his impeachment that took place today January 13.
He has been replaced with Hon Mojisola Metanda of Apapa 1 constituency.
