Breaking: House Of Assembly Passes 129 Billion 2022 Budget Into Law
Osun state house of assembly has passed the state’s 129 billion 2022 budget into law.
It would recalled that Governor Gboyega Oyetola on 5 october presented the budget before the state legislative house
The estimate tagged budget of sustainable development has 53.9 billion as the recurrent expenditure while 75.8 billion as the capital expenditure.
While speaking during the plenary session the speaker of the state house of assembly rt hon Timothy Owoeye commended his colleagues and the House Committee on Finance and Appropriation for their effort in swiftly considering the 2022 Appropriation Bill.
Owoeye noted that the financial plan would further improve the wellbeing of the people in the state if fully implemented.
He hinted that the lawmakers have put necessary mechanism in place to ensure effective monitoring of the budget for proper implementation.
The speaker noted that a copy of the passed budget will be transmitted to the governor for his assent
