Borno police confirms bomb attack in Konduga Local Govt.

The Borno state police command has confirmed a bomb attack in Konduga local government area of the state.

The state’s commissioner of police Mr. Damian Chukwu through a message sent to newsmen in Maiduguri explained that 16 persons were killed and eighty-two others wounded.

Mr. Chukwu said the incident occurred at a market when three suicide bombers hit the market.

He noted that the suicide bombers a male and two female detonated their explosives at the busy market blew up themselves.

Chukwu, also said the command has deployed his men to sanitize the area.
