Audio +: Effect laws to guarantee governance at the grass root level, economist tells National Assembly

A development economist, Mr. Bolaji Ogunseye has tasked the national assembly to effect an amendment that will guarantee governance at the grass root level.

Mr. Ogunseye explained that the local government administrations should be given the opportunity to deliver the dividends of democracy.

The development economist emphasised that the ongoing Constitution’s amendment should prioritize a process that will engender good governance.

Mr. Ogunseye stressed that the local government should be allowed to enjoy all responsibilities of a democracy like making laws credible elections, and establishing basic amenities.
