The Spokesperson of APC in the state and spokesperson, Osun APC Presidential Campaign council Kola Olabisi and Remi Omowaye who made this known at
a press conference in Osogbo, the state capital noted that the party is challenging the outcome of the election

It would be recalled that the People’s Democratic Party won all the three senatorial district and nine federal constituency in the state

Olabisi and Omowaye said some political thugs allegedly hired by the People’s Democratic Party attacked polling units in Iragbiji and Ikirun in Boripe and lfelodun local government and other areas, carting away already thumb printed ballot papers.

The APC leaders hinted that spate of insecurity, intimidation and assaults by the PDP thugs also led to disenfranchisement of voters in APC strongholds in Ijeshaland, Ikirun, Ila-Orangun, Ife, Gbongan and others

They therefore vowed to understudy facts and evidences gathered from different polling units towards challenging the outcome of the national assembly elections
