Amotekun arrest two human traffickers in Ekiti
The Western Security Network otherwise Known as AMOTEKUN Security corp in Ekiti state has apprehended two suspected human traffickers.
The Corp Commander, Brig. Gen. Joe Komolafe (rtd) while parading the suspect in Ado-Ekiti said the suspects, Pastor Olabode Adebayo allegedly sent a 21 year Adesewa Adewale to Bamako, Mali for prostitution.
He said his command will soon send the suspects to the National Agency for prohibition of Trafficking in Persons NAPTIP for necessary action after they might have concluded their investigation.
Komolafe also paraded a 36 year old man, Fatoba Tolu, for illegal possession of fire arm and impersonating a DSS official.
The suspect in an interview with Adaba FM confess to the crime claiming that the gun was made for self defence.
Brig. Gen. Komolafe however expressed the commitment of the security agency to provide adequate security in the state.
