Akeredolu Urges New Naval Commander to Ensure Peace in Riverine Areas

Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu has said that water ways is peculiar in the sustainability of the State economy. 

Governor Akeredolu stated this while receiving the new FOB Igbokoda Commanding Officer, Navy Captain Lanre Ajibade in Akure.

The Governor urged the new Naval Commander to ensured peace in the Riverine Areas of the state.

He informed Ajibade that two sets of people who works on the water ways are the Ijaws, Apoi and the Ilajes that deal with fish business hence the need to carry everyone along.

Navy Captain Lanre Ajibade promised to work with other security agencies in the State.
