Address health sector challenges or we go on strike, Medical Laboratory Scientists of Nigeria threatens FG

Medical Laboratory Scientists of Nigeria has threatened to join the ongoing strike by Joint Health Sector Union (JOHESU) unless the federal government addresses the challenges facing the health sector across the country.

National president of the association, Toyosi Raheem gave the warning while addressing newsmen in Osogbo, Osun state.

Raheem attributed the re-emergence of some communicable diseases like Lassa fever and yellow fever in the country.

He also decried the non-existence of medical surveillance in the country.
