Wike Hails Tinubu’s Education Loan Scheme

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory Nyesome wike has emphasized the need for leaders at all levels of government to possess the boldness and audacity to take actions that will enhance the quality of life of their citizens and propel the country forward.

The Minister who stated this while delivering the 2025 distinguished personality lecture at the Obafemi Awolowo University Ile Ife, Osun state, titled ‘The Nigeria of Our Dreams” noted that there is no one too powerful or influential to evade paying taxes in Abuja.

Wike stressed that evading taxes is an affront to the dreams of a more prosperous and just Nigeria.

The Minister said that the decision taken by the President, Bola Tinubu to remove the fuel subsidy on assumption of office even though painful but was in the best interest of Nigeria and it’s citizens.

Wike further noted that president Bola Tinubu administration is not controlled by any cabal, and therefore called on Nigerians to lend their support to the President

He also commended President Tinubu for his commitment to education growth through establishment of education loan scheme and his accelerated infrastructure programme
