Governor Adeleke installed as Asiwaju of Edeland

Osun state governor senator Ademola Adeleke has promised to continue devoting himself to the service of the people.

The Governor stated this at his installation as the Asiwaju of Edeland held at the palace of Timi of Ede Oba munirudeen lawal

The title was held by the Governor’s elder brother Isiaka Adeleke until his death in 2017.

In his remarks the governor of Osun state Ademola Adeleke who is the newly installed Asiwaju of Edeland thanked the people of the state for keeping faith with him saying he will not relent in contributing to the growth and development of Ede land and Osun state.

In his remarks in Yoruba the governor of Oyo state Seyi Makinde lauded governor Adeleke saying the Asiwaju title is well deserved.

Also speaking in Yoruba the Ooni of Ife Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi commended the governor for transforming the state in short space urging him to use his new title for the development of Yoruba race.

The event was well attended by eminent personalities across the country such as the governor of Lagos and Ogun states, former president of nigeria Olusegun
Obasanjo, former governor of Oyo state Rasheed Ladoja among others .
