The Ekiti state commissioner for information Chief Taiwo Olatunbosun, has assured the people of Ekiti that Governor Biodun Oyebanji’s recent visit to Dallas, United States, will have a positive impact on the state’s economy.
Speaking with Adaba FM in Ado Ekiti, Chief Olatunbosun expressed that Governor Oyebanji’s attendance at the US/Africa Summit was centered around exposing Ekiti to the international community, and it has provided valuable opportunities for the state to attract foreign investors interested in tapping into its agricultural potential.
He highlighted the significance of the Memorandum of Understanding signed with Cavista Holding on Agric-Business, emphasizing its potential to generate employment and enhance food production in the state.
Chief Olatunbosun emphasized that Governor Oyebanji’s trip has sparked interest among numerous foreign investors seeking partnerships with the state.
The commissioner assured that the construction of the cargo airport is progressing rapidly and is poised to support foreign investors’ efforts in the agricultural sector.
