Oyebanji mourns death of kidnapped school bus driver

Ekiti State Biodun Oyebanji has visited the abducted pupils and staff of the private school in Emure Ekiti who were brought to the Ekiti State University Teaching Hospital Ado Ekiti for medical attention after their release.

Oyebanji, accompanied by the Commissioner for Health and Human Resources, Oyebanji Filani, expressed satisfaction over the swift response of medical personnel who conveyed the rescued victims from Emure down to Ado Ekiti for proper medical treatment.

The governor also commended the efforts of security agents in the state for working tirelessly since the pupils were kidnapped.

He, however, commended the commitment of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to securing the release of the pupils.

He assured that his administration will not rest on its oars in ensuring that criminal elements are flushed out of the state.

Oyebanji condoled with the families of the late school bus driver, Mr. Taye Rasaki, who was gruesomely killed by the gunmen.
