Army Begins Shooting Range Exercise in Ondo

The 32 artillery brigade of the Nigerian army, Owena cantonment, Akure has commenced it 2023 second shooting range exercise.

The exercise will be held at the military range in Ita-Ogbolu from Wednesday August the 16th to Friday August the 18.

A statement by the brigade’s spokesperson, captain Jerry Oti says the exercise was to improve weapon handling and maintenance ability of officers and soldiers.

It says there will be firing of live ammunitions during the shooting range and urges members of the public not to panic.

The statement also urges the people to keep off the range area during the period of the exercise.
