Unknown gunmen kidnap three persons in Osun

Some unknown gunmen have kidnapped three residents of a village in Iwo, Osun State

Information has it that the gun-wielding men who invaded the community around 10 pm last Friday shot sporadically to scare the people away before kidnapping the three persons.

It was gathered that the neighbours in the settlement screamed in order to call the attention of other villagers to the attack and later reported to the nearest police station

The police spokesperson Yemisi Opalola who confirmed the incident in a statement said the kidnapped victims are Hamzat Ibrahim, Deere Ibrahim and a 38-year-old man, whose name was yet to be identified.

Opalola hinted that effort is on to rescue the victims.
