Ekiti govt declares work-free day for PVC collection

The Ekiti State Government has declared Tuesday, January the 24th as a work-free day in the state.

This is to enable eligible voters collect their Permanent Voter Cards (PVC) at INEC-designated centres.

A statement by the Chief Press Secretary to Ekiti State Governor, Yinka Oyebode, urges all eligible voters to take advantage of the holiday to get their PVC which is their licence to participate in the forthcoming general elections.

The decision to declare a work-free day in all APC-controlled states in the Southwest had been reached at a meeting of the party’s Southwest Presidential Campaign Council on Thursday.
