HUSBAND TO PREGNANT LAWYER NARRATES HOW LAGOS POLICEMAN KILLED WIFE

The husband of the late Lagos attorney Boranle Raheem has revealed how Assistant Superintendent Drambi Vandi shot and killed his wife on Christmas Day.

Genga Raheem, who was in the car with her wife at the time of the incident, said she was reportedly pregnant before being shot by Drambi Vandi leading to Bolanre’s untimely death.

She was taken to hospital and pronounced dead.

Assigned to the Ajiwe Police Station in Aja, Lagos state, Vandi reportedly fired the fatal shot for no reason, after police said he served 33 years.

Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Superintendent of Police, SP, Benjamin Hundeyin, confirming the incident describes it as “unfortunate and avoidable.”

He said the erring police officers Raheem and two other members of his team had been arrested and held in custody pending transfer to the National Crime Agency, SCID, Yaba for further action.
