Mimiko commends Dorian Home for charity and social development initiative
The national president, Naval Officers Wife Association (NOWA) Hajia Aisha Gambo has called on the elite to emulate the philanthropic nature of the founder, Dorian Home Akure, Dr. Tolulola Bayode.
Hajia Gambo stressed the need for the rich to remember Orphans and vulnerable in the society.
She made the call at the First Anniversary of a Motherless baby outfit, Dorian home located in Akure
Gambo informed that her association has developed a blueprint on the welfare of Children of Naval officers who died in active service.
Founder of Dorian Home, Dr Tolulola Bayode said that the facility is currently taking care of over 700 Orphans and the vulnerable caught accross Ondo state and beyond.
Dr Bayode noted that the project is being funded from her personal belongings without any external arrangement.
Former governor of Ondo state Olusegun Mimiko Commended Dr Bayode for having a large-heart which brought about the Initiative.
Goodwill messages were delivered by some private individuals at the event.
