IGP gifts over N24m to police widows in Ondo state

Inspector-general of Police, Usman Alkali Baba, has made widows of late police officers in the Ondo state command have a reason to smile during the yuletide season. 

The police boss gifted the family of the deceased officers over twenty four million naira to help ease their financial burden. 

Ondo state commissioner of police, Oyeyemi Oyediran, presented the cheques to the beneficiaries on behalf of the inspector-general of police.

Oyediran urged them to be prudent with the money. 

The beneficiaries applauded the support they received from the inspector-general of police and the command.
