Gunmen Invade Catholic Church In Katsina, Abduct Two Priests

Gunmen on Wednesday broke into St. Patrick Catholic Church at Gidan Mai Kanbu in the Kafur local government area of Katsina state.

The armed hoodlums kidnapped two priests and two others in the rectory of the church.

The clergymen are the Mai Kanbu parish priest, father Stephen Ojapah, and father Oliver along with two of their visitors.

The director, social communications of the catholic diocese of Sokoto, Reverend father Christopher Omotosho confirmed the development.

He said the catholic diocese of Sokoto is under attack and no information has been gotten as to the whereabouts of the abductees.
