APC spells task ahead Ekiti campaign council in June election

The APC National Campaign Council for the June governorship election says, it will leave no stone unturned to declare the state for the party.

It says, the election is strategic just as the party equally prepares for the 2023 general polls.

Chairman of the governorship campaign council, Atiku Bagudu said all members of the council have what it takes to win the election for the party.

Bagudu is also the governor of Kebbi state who oversaw the last governorship election held in Ekiti state in 2018.

The 61 member campaign council also has Senator Ovie Omo-Agege as the vice chairman and Mr Smart Iheasor as the secretary.

In the meantime, APC national chairman, Abdullahi Adamu has expressed confidence in the ability of the Ekiti governorship council.

Adamu said the APC has become stronger party across Nigeria hence, he expects nothing on the victory.

He spoke in Abuja as he reminded members of the council that they should not come back to cry after spilled milk.

APC national chairman said the June 18 governorship election in Ekiti will be used as a litmus for the general elections in 2023.
