Nigeria, Cameroonian troops successfully clear terrorists base in north east

Operations by combined team of Nigerian army, operation Lafiya Dole and the Cameroonian defence force have led to a successful cleaning of terrorists base in the north east.

Not less than 27 suspected terrorists were killed and several weapons destroyed in some villages that has border with Cameroon.

Acting director army public relations, Col. Sagir Musa said the troops recovered five gun trucks, several motorcycles, 5 AK47 rifles and several other arms and ammunition.

Coordinated military operation is said to be ongoing to capture the fleeing bandits.
