Lagos Building collapse: BCPG blames government

The president, building collapse prevention guild, George Akinola has blamed government partly for the Lagos building collapse.

A three storey building had collapsed in Ita Faaji area of Lagos Island killing at least 20 people, including pupils.

Akinola said the government needs to work with professionals to put a permanent stop to building disasters.

Rescue efforts are still ongoing at the site of the accident, with over 43 people rescued so far.
