US: Zimbabwe failed to make needed political, economic charges

The US state department says Zimbabwean government has failed to bring about political and economic changes needed to improve the country’s reputation.

State Department spokesman Robert Polladino told newsmen that president Emmerson Mnangagwa has yet to implement policies that would foster cordial relationship with the US.

The comments relate to president Donald Trump’s decision to extend by one year US sanctions.
