JAMB Registers over 1.8m Candidates for UTME
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has registered over 1.8 million candidates for the 2019 Tertiary Matriculation Examination.
JAMB’s head of media and information Dr Fabian Benjamin made the disclosure while chatting with newsmen in Lagos today.
Benjamin said the registration was a huge success, adding that there were no hitches at all various accredited registration centre nationwide.
He dismissed rumours in some quarters that candidates could start printing their examination notification slip from March 2nd.
The JAMB spokesman urged candidates and their stakeholders to remain calm that the board will make proper announcement and sensitization about the date for the examination.
