Alleged Robbery: Court Remands 2 in Ekiti

A chief Magistrate Court Sitting in Ado Ekiti has remanded two men, Sanni Gafaru, and Sunday Ojo over alleged robbery.

The trial magistrate, Doyin Akosile gave the remand other after police in the state apprehended the suspects sought their remand.

The accuse persons were alleged to have robbed an Ado Ekiti based businessmen of valuable worth millions of naira on January the 30th 2018, while in possession of offensive weapons .

The accused were arrested with the exhibits and they have confessed to the
crime.

They have also been identified by the victims of the crime.

The trial Magistrate, Doyin Akosile, consequently ordered their remand in prison custody and the duplicate file sent to the DPP for further legal advice.

The case is adjourned till the 8th March, 2018 for mention.
