Akeredolu’s Wife Solicits Support of  Traditional rulers’ Wives On Birth Registration

With the help of Wives of traditional rulers in Ondo state, the statistics of babies born in the state would be known through birth registration.

The registration will help in having updated data which will assist government in making plans for the society, especially in the area of health care delivery.

This is the belief expressed by the Wife of Ondo State Governor Mrs Betty Akeredolu, at a meeting with wives of traditional rulers across Ondo central Senatorial District, under her initiative “Olori Connection” today In Akure, the state capital.

Mrs Akeredolu said the Oloris are tasked with the duty of collating filled birth registration forms for Issuance of Birth certificates by the National population Commission.

Wife of the Olowa of Igbara Oke, Olori Yetunde Agbede described the initiative as a good development which should be embraced by all.

Mrs Akeredolu is billed to meet with wives of traditional rulers in the two other Senatorial Districts tomorrow and Friday.
