The presidency has confirmed that President Jacob Zuma will release the much-awaited higher education fees commission report this week.
The statement follows renewed protests on university campuses with students demanding the urgent release of the report which is reported to have been leaked.
Meanwhile, the high court in Cape Town will today hear an application for an interdict against protesting students at the University of Cape Town.
The institution’s management brought the application following numerous disruptions.
Students are demanding free education and the release of the report, which Zuma received in August.
