Ending North American trade agreement would break Mexico, United States relationship – Minister

The Mexican foreign minister has warned that ending the North American trade agreement would break relations between Mexico and the United States.

Luis Videgaray pointed trade deficit with Mexico as unfair to the United States.

Talks to update the 1994 deal have become increasingly acrimonious with Mexico and American business groups adding that United States proposals would hurt trade.

United States President, Donald Trump has repeatedly threatened to scrap the deal with Mexico.
