Gunmen kill 10 people including couple in Rivers

Gunmen have reportedly killed at least 10 people including a couple during an invasion in Mgbosumiri and Agip axis of Port Harcourt, the Rivers state capital.

The incident happened at about 4’oclock early this morning. A report says the incident caused panic in the community as residents scampered for safety.

The state police public relations officer, Mr. Nnamdi Omoni who confirmed the incident said the motive for the killings is not yet clear.

However, he said police will do everything possible to uncover the perpetrators.
