Youth attacks emergency agency officials in Borno

Irate youths have attacked officials of the Borno State Emergency Management Agency who is on a rescue mission at the scene of a suicide bomb attack in Maiduguri.

The incident occurred at Londoncikisimari area of Maiduguri where a female suicide bomber attacked a mosque killing eight worshippers.

The youths who attacked the Borno State Emergency Management Agency rapid response team dispatched to evacuate corpses were said to be angered by the recent increase of suicide bombing in the Borno state capital.

Reports say it took the intervention of members of the civilian joint task force on rescue the Borno State Emergency Management Agency officials.
