2 Deputy Presidential candidates boycotts television debate in Kenya
The two main candidates for deputy president, incumbent William Ruto and Katonzo Musyoka Od the opposition national super alliance have boycotted a television debate organised for Kenyan politicians.
Ahead of next month’s Kenyan presidential elections only Muthiora Kariara who is running alongside independent presidential candidate Japheth Kaluya attended the debate.
Kenya’s veteran politician Ralia Odinga has been confirmed as the candidate for a coalition of opposition parties against the incumbent president, Uhuru Kenyatta.
This will be the fourth time Mr. Odinga runs for president.
