1st Anniversary: Akeredolu To Commission Projects, Begin New Ones

Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State, will as part of activities marking his first anniversary in office, begin the commissioning of projects across the 3 Senatorial Districts in the state next week.

The governor would also flag off construction of new projects In the areas.

The chairman anniversary planning committee, Wale Akinterinwa made this known today while addressing journalists after the weekly state Executives Council meeting in Akure.

He explained that the week long activities which begin on February 19th and ends on the 25th will be kicked off with a public lecture.

The guest lecturer is Professor Akin Oyebode and he will speak on the theme “Rethinking the Nigerian nationhood : Issues and Challenges”

Other activities lined up include Media Chat, Novelty Matches, Jumah service and interdenominational service among others.
