11 persons drowns in Jigawa Rivers – Police
Jigawa State Police command says no fewer than eleven persons had drowned in various rivers in the state in the last one month.
This is contained in a statement by the spokesman of the command Abdu Jinjiri. He said the number of people drowned within such period is outrageous.
The Police Public Relation Officer advised those who are not conversant with swimming to desist from bathing or fishing in any pond or river.
